Academic Requirements for Admission into NIHMER
To considered for an Admission into the NIHMER Residency/Fellowship/Postgraduate / Postgraduate Diploma / Masters and Certificate Programmes aspiring Physicians / Dentists / applicants must meet the requirements below;
• Filled NIHMER PG Residency/Fellowship/PG Application form
• Medical Diploma MBBS/MD/MBChB/BMBS/DO or it's equivalence
• Birth certificate
• International Passports for IMG's
• Travel Visas and Residential Permit for IMG's
• Candidate must submit the application for admission form and declaration in his/her own handwriting duly signed by her parents/guardians.
• One Passport size recent photograph on admission form and attach 10 (Ten) extra copies of the photographs also (without attestation).
• A duly filled referee form
• Marksheet /Academic Transcripts of Medical Diploma
• NEET-PG Requirements

• NEET-MDS Requirements
• FMGE Requirements (if applicable)
• NIHMER-PGME & NIHMER-PGDE Requirements (If applicable)
• NIHMER-PG Requirements (If applicable)
• Certificate of good Standing from the Physicians, Dentists or Applicants Medical / Dental School / University attended.
All aspiring applicants are to pick up the NIHMER admission forms at the office of the Registrar to apply for an admission.
Applicants can choose to apply online through the NIHMER online application database
After clearing all necessary examination required for admission, applicants will be invited for an interview if their application meets the necessary requirements for admission into their respective programmes.
